    Default help needed pcv hose's for vortech blower setup

    Hey i need some help hooking up all the pcv hose's on my supercharger set up for my vx. i have taken the hose out of the throttle body and blocked that off. where do i run th hose from the drivers side tappet cover dose it go into the back of the blow off valve or does it go in the pipe some where near the s/c intake . a photo would really help also tanks

    hose A is connected to the rocker cover and not sure where it breaths to can i hook it up ti the intake tube in front of the s/c inlet
    hose B is hooked onto the BOV where does it go to and i all so have 4mm hose about 300mm long and a few 4mm t pieces. any help would be great


    also is any thing ment to go into the little hole in the back of the blower discharge pipe i have a bung for it but any hose's or anything ?

    i dunno which line on an LS1 has the pcv valve in it but that line will need to be plumbed in on the inlet manifold side of the throttle body. because the pcv is only open under vacuum, thats when the motor expels its crankcase pressure back into the inlet tract via the pcv.

    bov line will have to be plumbed into the same spot, well not the exact same but after the t/b somewhere. so when u back off the gas the bov line sees vacuum and lets the bov open. there is a thread in the ve section asking about plumbing a catch can, check it out the diagrams there might be of use to ya

    thanks for that mate. could i plumb the bov one into the heater vac hose that goes into the back of the manifold near the map sensor

    if the bov line is similar diameter to the heater line and can be 'tee-d' into it i reckon it should be ok

    run it into the flexible intake hose before the blower if you pm me ur munber i will text you a pic cheers

    yea its pretty crazy ay i just need to sort my power steering out power steering help. ASAP i have no power steering
