Default Twin turbo setup on LS1, what will i need?

hey people. im buying a 2nd hand Gen TT kit.
it has the KKR turbos. as i read in the other thread. they are china crap, so i will be scraping them for some Garret turbos.

just wondering what Garret turbos will work best with the Gen TT kit housing?
also i been told i will need a 2 bar sensor, where can i get one of them?
also whats a good cam that will go with twin turbo setup? (currently i have a 225 comp cam)
will i need to upgrade the fuel system?
will i need to upgrade anything else to keep her safe? (it will remain on stock internals for awhile)
want to see more then a typical commodore fitted with an exhuast, then check my thread out... link broken cuase i dont own a tuff car, i just made it up...

    Australian LS1 and Holden Forums

    Its been done to death.

Use 28/71r Snails. Their ball bearing. And standard equipment on the Gen TTR BB kit.
Yes, hit up Holden for the 2bar
I used a 224/230 114LSA Cam. But really, its not going to make that much difference.
If you wish to run more than 8psi boost, a fuel system is reccomended. 40lb minimum. 60lb reccomended, with a surge tank, and external pump/reg
Get in contact with a good tuner. A tune is whats going to keep everything safe. They will also be able to suggest/sell you everything your going to need.

Also - make sure you own a good angle grinder, as they are not a 'bolt up kit' as advertised. And the hose clamps supplied suck. Id suggest T-bars. And a Eboost to control the boost levels. Not really a cheap excercise to do properly mate. Do your research before you hand any money over to anyone.

depends how much power you want to make, and what setup you get... most of the time you wont get change from 10 g from a decent reliable setup

Are you just out to make power, regardless whether it's by a blower or turbo? You need to go for a drive in both to work out what sort of power you want and see how it's delivered. They're both very different cars to drive. Price wise, I don't know how much the kit is you're looking at but a decent set-up with either blower or turbo is anywhere from $10-15k. If you want to do things properly you need to pay for it.

I just want to have a forced inducted LS1 cuase i can pretty much. would like to make some respectable power, but not to crazy! i aiming for +500HP.
i been told to stay away from turbos cuase of where i live, north Australia. i would have heating problems with oil cooking and the cooling system going off its nuts if i took it for a drive down the road in summer. the other option is a blower, but i would love to get a turbo setup cuase you dont see to many up this way.

im just chucking ideas around. doing my research before i committe to one and start buying thins.

also im not bothered how much i pay to get it done... but i dont want to go pay 10-15K. the Gen TT kit is 2nd hand and is pretty cheap. so it would probs cost me way under 10K to have it all setup properly.
