    Exclamation Ls1 Oil leak

Hey all just wondering If you guys would have any fresh ideas into my problem .
Ok Went down to phillip island last weekend car was running fine no problems at all she purred
go home parked her over night went out the next day and i notice a 7x7 inch patch of oil under the car approximetly under the pasenger foot well . looks like its coming from in between the bell houseing and the motor . im not to sure if it is coming from the Rear main seal . i recently changed the rocker cover gaskets . i have checked and checked again the rocker covers there not leaking transmission is not leaking . the oil is definetly Motor Oil . when i check the Dip stick the oil level is right on target . other than that medeum to short trips there may be a 20 cent piese worth the next day thats it . So i hope you guys can give me some direction . I have washed the engien down in the past . i am going to wash it again tomorrow . So ill keep you updated . But please give me your ideas thanks

Rear main seal would be my first guess... if this is the case, out comes the motor or gearbox to fix that one.

Check your oil pressure switch at the back of the manifold. Oil comes up through the swicth, out the plug and runs down side of the motor making it look like a rear main seal. This is one posibillity. I have replaced switch on mine before.

rear main seal leak is very common through the vt-vx years and yes the gearbox has to come out

i had a leak after some knob head installed my clutch he knocked a whelsh plug out a little bit ####ed my clutch to :-( they tried telling my the clutch was fine and it was a main seal leaking thats after i took it back. so i took it to another shop and they found the problem and fixed it. so the first shop forked out 1500 buck for a new clutch :-) not to long after that it done a main seal lol.
for your sake hope its none of them 2 it get pretty expensive.
