Will L98 heads fit onto an LS1?
Will i have any problems with LS1 headers fitting onto the L98 heads?
Will piston to valve clearance change?
and
Im guessing i would have to use a L98 intake manifold?
Anything else i have to take into consideration??
cheers
If they're a cathedral port head I'm pretty sure they'll fit.
I've never tried but thats what I've been told.
cathedral port head??? explain please
Got me stuffed lol. I don't claim to be an expert on these things.
I've just been told that anything with a Cathedral port head will be interchangable.
I asked the same question last year.
No the l98 head will be no good on the 3.9" bore of the ls1 you need at least a 4" bore to use the l98.
Just get your 241 heads cnc ported and a set of stainless valves put in and double springs then port an ls6 intake if you cant afford something better.
Do you have that Harrop intake manifold HRT?
^^ I had it on for a few months and then changed to LSXr102 set-up but they both work very well, Getting 350rwkws on E85 with stage 2 cnc 241 heads.
Have you got any infor on the manifolds I could look at?
Yep try looking here.
Speed Inc - Pure Power
First go to "online parts warehouse"
then search catalog by manufacturer
select "FAST" from the list, then GET PARTS
The items you will need are

Fuel rails part # FAST146032-KIT price is 187 USD
