Whats this tube for is it Air?

Hi guys can someone help with telling me what this tube is from the Throttle body it goes from a Hard plastic tube into what looks like a sensor of sometype then into a soft rubber tube? Reason for asking is i would like to Split it to fit a Vacuume gauge in here.

im sure its the canister purge valve hose and solenoid , drill and tap in behind the throttle body for your vac gauge for the best vacum signal .

The tube you indicated is the the fuel evap canister purge, leave that side alone. The easiest place to run a vacuum guage would be from the small vacuum line running off the back of the manifold which controls the heater controls. It is just next to the brake booster hose on the back of the manifold. Just get a t-peice and bridge off there, in between the one-way valve and the manifold.
