    Default Oxygen Sensor Problem

Hi everyone was wondering if anyone could help me.
I've got a vt ss 5.7L and the engine light come on so we put the scan tool on it and it come up with p0133 Left oxygen sensor slow response and p0153 Right oxygen sensor slow response,
so we replaced the oxygen sensors and it didn't change a thing same codes keep coming up,
we checked the PVC lines they all look ok and not leaking.
so was wondering if anyone could help.

If you are refering to this below:-

That's the "Check Drive train" light... which could be anything in the drive train... like the Auto or some other switch.

2 things I am thinking is:-
    1. Did the scantool bring up some other codes?
    2. Could it be just a problem with the dash?

    Good luck.

you haven't put a bigger exhaust system on lately? a few guys at holden used to say when the ls1 first came out in the vt's that when people added bigger exhausts they used to throw these codes cause they couldn't read the flow of exhaust gases properly/ quick enough.

I might actually have this problem, as I have a 1999 VT Exec and it's an ex-chaser with the 5.7. Mine has a twin 3" exhaust.

How could one counter this problem?
