Default ls1 turbo setup street legal ? few other questions

so i have seen the light and am interested in making some power with a ls1 instead of playing with old 6s and other older motors.

have been looking at a website which sells turbo kits for ls1 setups Welcome to LS1 Turbo - LSX Turbo Kits, Gen-T Turbochargers, Gen-TT, Gen-TTR

few quick questions, are these setups street legal ? or are they a race only setup ?

i live in victoria if it helps.

im thinking of getting a twin turbo setup on a unopened ls1, and will just be pumping low boost( not going to be breaking shit, just want something out there)

if i were to purchase such a kit, does it require much mods to the car to fit?

will i need a better cooling system ?

    injectors?

will my auto be able to handle this power/ torque increase? or will it be a bit too much for it? its currently fitted with a shift kit, std converter.

also will the diff be capable of holding in there okay?

if it is possible i would like to go this path yet retain a streetable duty with this car, this means road trips and crusing and in general just regular street stuff. would consider also taking it for a couple of runs down the 1/4 as well.

can this be done or am i just wanting the impossible?

i live in victoria if it helps. Thats nice

if i were to purchase such a kit, does it require much mods to the car to fit? I've done it and didnt have a problem , have heard others did run into problems, follow the instructions and call them for help if needed
will i need a better cooling system ? No but will require mods, part of the kit
    injectors? Yes go 60lb
will my auto be able to handle this power/ torque increase? or will it be a bit too much for it? its currently fitted with a shift kit, std converter. Tough question, my auto is 100% stock no cooler, never changed the oil 330kw's at the rears for about 2 years runs 11's heavy car, lucky, maybe............
also will the diff be capable of holding in there okay? Not been an issue, drive shafts however

Daily driver, wife uses it everyday. Clocked up at least 50thousnd kays
can this be done or am i just wanting the impossible?
    Sounds reasonable to me....

You have next to no chance getting a turbo kit on a pre-VE engineered in VIC, from an emissions perspective.

GEN-TT kits require a fair bit of hacking and bending to make fit, if you are keen on twins check out the ASE twin turbo kits instead. Otherwise, GenRacing and ASE make nice single turbo kits.

If I had my time again I wouldn't go turbo. I still don't have the confidence to walk away from my car after a drive without checking if it is on fire...

why wouldnt this pass a engineers cert?

will look into those other companies,

is there anything i havent picked out which is required as a decent mod that will need to be done for this setup ?

    just another quick question

are supercharged ls1s in the same dilemma as the turbo setups for street legal wise? ive seen a heap of different setups from the centrifugal style setups to the roots style which fit under the std turtle cover for max sleeperness

just S/C it and get a black powder coated cooler, don't have to get anything to serious, if your worried about engineers certificates then put some extra coin aside from what iv heard they cost a bit to get the certificate, there's tones of cars out there that are s/c or turbo'd with out having engineer's certs, as long as your not stupid and your cars not sitting on the bump stops you'll be alright.
