So I havent cleaned my Air filter in the OTR in a while, went to do it today when I was doing a bit of a clean and ended up saying cant be arsed.
Main reason is simply I dont have a great way to get the air filter out. The last time I did it I had the OTR off the car so it was fairly easy I ripped it out from the bottom, however I was wondering if you can pull the filter up via the front/top? If not anyone got any tips for getting the air filter out of the DuSpeed OTR...
Might be different on yours but mine on the ve comes out the top quite easily. There's a rubber strip on top of the otr, remove that and you should see the top of your filter, just lift it out. Sorry, i just can't remember if the one on my vz was the same but i'm pretty sure it was.
Yeah Ive got the little strip that you remove and you can see the air filter. Was just kinda worried about putting it back in, if its easy to get back into place.
Yeah mine's easy to get back in on the ve, just can't remember on the vz.
I've got one on my VX. Working from above push the centre of the filter towards the front of the car, and then slide the outer edge towards the centre on one side. Putting it back in is basically the reverse. Easy once you've done it.
