    Default Vy s2 sv8

Hey guys I have a S2 VY SV8 with only 89,000kms on the clock, and its Stock as a rock,
Im looking for the Smaller Mods at the moment to unleash it a little over stock standard.
Was thinking a Twin 2.5 System and a Growler Kit...

Could you shoot me some Idea's please

    Regards
    Brendon

Ok well in response to this thread and your other one.

Dont go 3 inch unless you are certain you are getting big work down the line. You will lose a fair whack of torque. Go twin 2 and a half.

Get a good OTR, the Growler shit you mentioned in the other thread is gay. IMO the best OTR on the market is the DuSpeed OTR. The Ramjet from GM Motorsport isnt bad but it looks fugly and sticks out like a dogs breakfast.

Twin 2 and a half exhaust either Tri Y extractors or 1 3/4 4 into 1's with a good OTR and a mafless tune. Should see you up around 220 rwkw.

as above, piss off that growler shit DuSPeed is one of the most decent looking 1's around head to their website there about $750
and unless your going a big cam or forced induction then go for the twin 3" setup otherwise stick with the twin 2.5''

Hey thanks for the advice Guys,
I certainly wont be doing anything major to the Engine as far as mods are concerned,
So I will be putting a Twin 2.5" System on it, and love the look of the DuSpeed CAI.

    Appreciate the help..

    Fair enough.

I imagine a 3 incher will drone pretty badly though one a otherwise standard LS1, correct? Sound pretty mean though.

    Friend's ute - L98, Same Isky cam, 1 7/8 extractors, 3" KPM - 329.7RWKW 703NM

Looking at the charts mine has more torque down low - his peak power figure is less than 2% higher than mine - Maybe the 3" is a wee bit of overkill for a 5.7L with a standard cam, considering ours are 6L's and there's next to no gain in it for us?
