VE heads 2.JPGVE heads 3.JPGbalancer tool.jpgI'm doing a cam swap in my VE L98 6L and just went through the 'which spring tool' situation. I modified my LS1 valve spring compressor in the end. I thought it may help someone else by seeing a picture of what I did. I extended one hole and also ground out the back to fit over the raised inlet runner.
Also a pic of a tool I made for reinstalling the crank pulley. You lock the threaded rod into the crank with a couple of lock nuts, and then after warming up the pulley you wind it on using the barrel nut and greased washer. Work a treat.
