    Hey guys, looking at getting one of these for my ls1, opinions?

    looks the goods, is it really a 30hp gain though? ive heard intake manifolds to sweet FA...

    aluminum intake = more heat....although good for cars with NOS

    Have also heard the fuel lines leak

    I could be really wrong here... buuuut.... I do not believe that pic in the EvilBay add is a manifold for a LS1, it looks wierd. As I said I could be wrong

    Now... if it was me... I would go and get myself a second hand LS6/90mm manifold off a wrecked HSV and it will out perform that disgusting thing.

    Now if it's for looks you want... I would still go for a second hand LS6/90mm manifold and go get it chromed for next to nothing and pocket the $5-600 will save than rather than buying what these tutrkeys are selling.

    Just my 2c...

    I would personally go the FAST manifolds from the states with the 90mm TB.

    With the dollar the way it is, it will probably come out at a similar cost.

    VX/VU onwards had LS6/75mm manifolds from factory

    LS2 is 90mm

    LS1 MAF ID = 75mm
    LS1 Throttle Body ID = 75mm
    LS6 MAF ID = 80mm
    LS6 Throttle Body ID = 80mm
    LS2 MAF ID = 90mm
    LS2 Throttle Body ID = 90mm
