    Default OTRCAI install MAFFLESS question

    Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding the plugs from the old MAF airbox (the sensors i presume), what has everyone done with the 2 plugs if they went MAFFLESS with an OTR CAI?

Electrical tape them out of the way? or cut them off to reduce clutter?

^^^What he said. There should only be one plug for the MAF the other is your IAT sensor you need to keep this.

anyway to get the IAT out without hacking the stock pipe>?..

scratch that... pliers did the trick.. now to get a grommit for my OTR seems the best place is just behind the filter..

A good OTR should have a mounting hole for the IAT. what's the point of getting cooler air from infront of the radiator if the computer can't measure the temperature of it and adjust accordingly?
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
