So whilst fitting off the last of my braided hoses today I was looking at the fuel pump and noticed something plumbed into the return - these things are a return-less setup so can anyone tell me what happens if i disconnect it and plumb my surge tank return into the pump?
Why not run a T-piece join so you can have both connected to it incase it's required? Not sure what it's for, maybe for vapors to escape so don't get a vapor build up, like to a charchol canister, I'm probably way of the mark but is a guess.
It turns out that it's like a recirculating line so there's no excess load built up on the stock fuel pump. I bought a male quick connect to AN6 adapter and an AN6 plug, blocked it up and everything works fine - happy days!
