    Default Vx clubsport performance

Iv got a sting red vx clubsport in 6 speed current mods are twin 2.5" into single 3" no reso, Hsv header, ss inductions cai and maf less tune I had it dynoed few days after I picked it up only pulled 191.4rwwk.

Since then I put the twin 2.5" into single 3 as the exhuast on there was a mix of different size pipe.

What would I need to get to 245 at Least

Went single 3" tail pipe not a full single 3", only cause the exhuast guy was abit worried about fitting the tip so went with a twin 2.5" into a single 3"

Definitely get rid of that SS REDUCTIONS POS intake - swap for an OTR, 4-1 headers, 100cpi cats and possibly a decent tune again (I think a sponsor from LS1.com.au would be a better option)
Also I can't understand why an exhaust fitter is worried about fitting tips? was he on a traineeship

Things that could possibly add a few more rwkw:
    25% under-drive pulley
could go to an 84mm throttle

Your tune must be horrible. My VX A4 with Difillipo 2.5" cat back and 200cpi cats made 204rwkw. After tune and OTRCAI it made 229rwkw. With a decent tune and OTRCAI you should be making anywhere between 220-240rwkw through a manual.

That's what the guy said who Dyno ran it, he reckons 235 mark if he tunes it. As for the exhuast joint he only had big tips in the style I wanted to keep that stock looking tip, also going otr when I get some more cash and probaly 25%udp

Hmmm o.k. i cant say as i have seen how much room you have on a VG ute so i will leave it alone. But what i will say is maybe drop a size in tail pipe when the bloke has smaller ones and get the twin 2.5" flowing all the way through. I think it would look better as well as letting it breath better and like munz said some decent headers and 100 cpi cats will do the job thats what i have and i am very happy.

Hey mate i got a vx clubby r8 and mine pulls 253rwkw with a x force twin 2.5" system with 200cpsi cats.and 1 7/8 " pacey 4 into1 with otr mafless . Hope this helps. Can all depend on your engine condition, or maybe your tuner had a wicked hangover or something when he tuned it. Cheers Corbin

sounds like definitely hasn't been tuned or was a poor tune, my factory stock 02 SS auto made 184.8rwkw. so a manual should have made 190-195 rwkw. sounds like just an intake and exhaust were added and no tune.

Hope nothing major and all works out for you.

Everybody here is talking KW figures, how about someone starts talking about torque!
605nm at the wheels is a very nice amount, in anybodies language.
VT V6 fitted with DMS gold 40mm coilovers, Whiteline adjustable swaybars & strut brace, 330mm AP racing brakes, Rebuilt 3.45:1 LSD and a Powerdyne supercharger

Okay so I just re-read your post:

So your saying someone done a mafless.... then a few days later you took it to another shop/dyno to check the numbers. And the guy with the dyno said this:

Could the shop with the dyno even look at the tune? Has the Maf definitely been removed?

Think you may have been shafted here

Yeah the torque is high, yeah def no maf, had a talk to him today he said the tune on it is running every lean so a re tune would fix it and get it up into the 230rwwk
