coil pack bolts

hey guys,
i have removed the coil packs to clean them up and maybe paint them and notcied the bolts that hold the brackets in are different, does anyone know why this is or what they are for? i dont have any engine cover (or plan to have one) so im thinking it could have been for that. see picture?
if these arnt nessacary ill get new bolts that are a bit nicer looking

Yea there for the engine cover
