I have a VT II SS and I was going to do the mod to my airfilter box.
When I opened it up , I found that I have 2 pipes coming out allready.
One is going to the side and one is going to the top into the plastic cover over the grill. Is this standart ?
Maybe am I misunderstanding something ?
Also my MAF pipe is 100mm.
It's a ex nsw police car.
I got the 2.5 inch exhaust system done and need the extra air before I can get the mail order edit-tune done.
    Any help ?
    Thanks achimw

I think I got it now.
I thought all VT II SS Commodores have the MCAI , but mine has not got it.
I am buying a HSV box with a MCAI .
I understand , that the HSV box has a larger intake , so would I still put a second pipe
    on ?
    Thanks achimw

Remove Top half of air Box , and remove Snorkle type Tube that faces upwards. 2nd pipe is a twisty prick that is quite hard to Remove , i had to Cut mine out then remove it but others have done so without cutting.

Cheers mate all good. One thing, you never mentioned having to run some pipe between the MCAI and airbox, and how you would seal em up
