Anybody got a new vcm532 cam

Hi All,
Just interested if anybody has fitted one of the new VCM532 cams to there car?
This is the replacement to the old VCM21.

Comparable specs:
VCM532: DURA 215 223 LIFT 583 583 LSA 112
VCM21 : DURA 217 225 LIFT 600 578 LSA 113

I'm currently in the middle of fitting this cam, morel tiebar lifters, yella terra roller rockers, trend 7.350 pushrods, VCM mafless CAI,
Just working out what type of headers and exhaust to fit, will be 3inch.

to match the cam with exhaust.

1 3/4 primary's are perfect, unfortunately 4-1`s are the only decent type thats available off the shelf, 1" 5/8 (stock-intake/tune) is too small and 1" 7/8 is too big (forced induction, big HP N/A strockers etc...) I want to make a killer set of try ys that will out do the 4-1s.............

roller tip rockers are a wise investment.:smoking:

Cheers st3r3otyp3, Exhaust is sorted thanks to NAAF, engine is waiting on a new coolant temp sensor from Holden then it's off to the tuner.

how is the preload on those rockers?
I would have thought the pushrods maybe too small! usually the base circle of an aftermarket cam is smaller than stock!

Maybe the tie bars are little higher than stock?

Munz, all is good. Yes you are correct lifters are taller than stock.
Dont really have great pics, but this should give you a better idea.

nice, heads look nice and clean - anywork done on them?

no mate , just took them into engineering shop to get valves reseated because I had to replace the springs, collets and retainers and a light shave.
They chemically cleaned them and reassembled them for me, looked like brand new all wrapped up in gladwrap

Well it's done, finally got the tune done at Insane Performance in Rockhampton.
It performed very well and the tuner was happy with the results, ended up with 411hp and 762nm with good afr's.
Car drives well and has been transformed, so yeah I do recommend this camshaft along with a good tune shop.

I was just checking Youtube a couple of hours ago looking to see if you had put up a vid yet. Any chance? And maybe the a pic of the dyno chart? It's obviously 411hp atw's but is the torque figure at the wheels also?

It and its predecessor the 21 have had me interested for ages but I didn't jump early so I chose to just wait until the warranty is up, which is December this year then it's all systems go.....
