    Default Squealing belts/pulleys

On cold morning or after prolonged storage when i start my car belts or pullys make a squealing sound really annoying and used to go away when warm but now is constant. However if i warm her up then shut it down then restart it it stops and is all good for the rest of the day until another cold morning. It sounds like it's coming from the A/C Compressor area. Does anyone have the same problem? Is it just belts need replaceing or is a pulley bearing on the way out? Is it difficult to replace the pulleys? Also the pulley without a nut do u have to replace the whole plate to replace it? Cheers. This is an LS1

See if the outside of your belts are chewing up at all if it is you know somethings now right maybe a bearing.

Cheap fix can be some candle wax on the belts. Else replacing belts can make it go away if its not the compressor. How old are the belts?

Does the noise change or go away if you turn the air con on? It may be the clutch bearings on the compressor if that is the case.
