ok cheers for that dijm8, i'm waiting for a reply, tried to pm the guy but said his inbox was full, has dump pipes, prefer straight out like factory, but for the price i don't car, just want it to breath a bit better, plus can upgrade later if need be,

what do dump pipes sound like on a gen3, cat back?

might, if i get a chance to look at it i'll measure it against mine to make sure it fits properly, i'll measure mine saturday morning when i service the car and try and look at it saturday arvo or sunday, depending where its located.

does brand and mild or stainless steel realy matter on a cat back exhaust? its cheap i know that and definatly of a gen3 vt. i'd say its a mild steel for the price, but who knows as he's stripping the whole car down, engine, interior and all.

cool, thanks for that not_an_abba_fan, yeh the guy said it will fit, so going to have a look and get it if not damaged or rusted(if not stainless steel, say its not for the price), then get a pair of 2.5"cats for the extra bit of breathing and some headers later.
