Cleaning the MAF sensor made a difference, now while i'm cruising at 100km/h and let go of the accelerator, the engine doesn't rev up and down by it self anymore (been wondering what that problem was for 2 years).

Anyway, the MACE Cold Air Intake is in, and that made a huge difference. It doesn't matter what speed you are doing (example 100km/h), just cruising along and I put my foot down, the car takes off as if it was standing still haha. And I can hear the whine of the supercharger now (sounds awesome), i'm more then happy with it.

Only problem I had installing it was trying to line it up the the washer bottle, but after a while I got it.

And of course, here are the pics (sorry not the best quality):

Ah glad you're happy with the setup ben

In regards to installation, as you've probably found out, they do require a bit of adjusting (which is built in the design of the box)

The only constructive feedback that I can sugget would be to consdier to have the washer bottle cap completely above the surface of the lid and consider shortening the overflow bottle hose from the rad

Regardless though the install does look!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Cheers,

Thanks Steve, I will try what you said with the washer bottle lid tomorrow and that hose on the radiator is aftermarket (it came in the cooling system hose kit) so I might try and make it shorter without it kinking. Yes I did have to adjust it a bit but that was no problem.

I am also going to be after a MACE Intermediate Intercooler Kit and Supercharger Pulley Kit (with 10 and 14 PSI Pulleys), for this VS, but I need to save up more money first.

Would you be able to tell me how thick the intercooler plate is (mm) (the part that sits under the supercharger) so I can work out how thick K-Frame spacers are that I need. I really don't want to modify the firewall and I want to avoid modifiying the bonnet.

EDIT: Thanks for the stickers as well

    Ah please do

You'd (sadly?) need to go smaller with that intercooler for clearance

"Would you be able to tell me how thick the intercooler plate is (mm) (the part that sits under the supercharger)"
    52mm

"so I can work out how thick K-Frame spacers are that I need. I really don't want to modify the firewall and I want to avoid modifiying the bonnet."
I would no go bigger then 12mm to be honest

"EDIT: Thanks for the stickers as well "
    No probs

So would I have to go with the smaller intercooler kit?

As for the K-Frame Spacers, I was going to get 10mm, thats why I asked how thick the intercooler plate is.

What do you think would be the best thing to do? I was told that 14 PSI is the smallest pulley I can get without modifying the supercharger snout or replacing it.

If you use K frame spacers then no. If not then you'd only be able to the mini blizzard

    No probs

If you're going to the trouble of putting in K frame spacers and your budget stretches far enough, then I would go the intermediate item

"I was told that 14 PSI is the smallest pulley I can get without modifying the supercharger snout or replacing it"
    16 is the smallest.

Fitted mine up today, took me about 20 mins to install , and it was piss easy to do .

The sound is intense from it , sounds like its actually working (sucking air sound)
The revs are more easy to get going , and smoother .
And when driving around the exhaust pops and burbles and sounds mint

Recommend this Product 100% over the l67 cold air intake .

i have had the cold air intake on my car for just over a month now and yesterday i went for the first night time drive through the hills since the intake has been on and the car revs so much easier and felt a lot better compared to the factory intake and it wanted to just keep going so im really pleased with it and while it does feel better in normal city driving it was a big difference going though the hills with the cold night time air

    Hi Steve,

Before you ship it, Would it be possible to get the lid changed to a VN style lid?

The one that looks identical but doesn't have the washer bottle hole in it?

I want to shorten my washer bottle so it looks neater.

    Cheers, james.
