hey just wondering would a 304 injected auto or a injected 5 or 4 speed 253 go harder

just lookin for some help i just boguht a vl berlina just wondering if i should spend mi time and rebuild the original 304 in it or put a 253 ive got here in it

Depends entirely what you want with the car

Drag racing: Auto
Track car: Manual

as for what will go faster efi definitely. 355 stroker if the budget stretches that far.

ps: 253 = fail. You may as well go kill yourself and install a 6 cyl

I suppose it depends on how much money you have to play with but the 304 would definitely be the better option.
