    Default Another happy customer

You guys need a review thread.
After a bit of a mix up with my order, I have to say MACE have by far the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I'm not going to advertise all the details in case someone hasn't had the same treatment and gets shitty with them, but for a small mistake that simply cost me nothing but a couple days withhout getting the bits into my car I was more than compensated.

12mm plenum spacer went in last week with the original order, and that by itself made a decent difference down low (I have had the 25mm manifold insulator for a while now). Pulls so much better up hills, not needing to kick down gears like it used to.

CAI just went on, and it pulls harder still, right through from take off to redline. The one comment I have to say is that the fit doesn't seem 100%. Maybe it was just me, but the pod filter was touching the washer bottle neck and pushing it back slightly so the hole in the lid didn't line up by 1 or 2mm. I'll trim a bit off the end of the filter though when I get some more daylight and it should be right.

The memcal won't be going in for a few days so I can see the improvements of each product, but I already have a greenfoam tune so I'm interested to see how it goes.

Looks like I'll have to put rockers on the shopping list next!

all this talk about plenum spacer and manifold insulators has got me pretty keen.

I might grab one of them next week, which do you guys recommend getting first?

    cheers.

I got the manifold insulator first solely on the basis that if you buy the plenum spacer first, you have to pull it off to install the manifold insulator anyway.

Generally speaking, case by case, if we make a mistake on our end, excessively delayed customers with their purchases, we often do look after them by refunding postage costs, throw in free parts or offer a discount coupon etc. We genuinely do our best to keep everyone happy. If people have any problems with our products or services all they have to do is pick up the phone or send us an email of which I’m certain can be resolved. I’m glad you appreciate the gesture though

Admittedly the VR-VS kits are a tight fit with the washer bottle in place. The mounting points on the box can be adjusted to improve fitment, however trimming the pod filter neck back a little would be ideal, of which we’ll probably doing on our end shortly to make installation even easier.

    Appreciate the constructive feedback Philthy
