    Default wiil a 7hbd trans replace a 5hbd trans in a vs ss??

    trying to find out if this swap is possible is it a straight swap???

    Most likely not. there were some changes to the transmissions through the years. the later trans have a slightly different valve body/extra solenoids which aren't interchangeable. best to replace with what you have i.e. exchange a 5HDD with a 5HDD
