vs v8 auto problem

G'day Mace ,i have a vs series 1 v8 auto ,the car seems to have a vt engine/trans loom with vs pcm plugs spliced onto it .
I have got it all worked out except for one of the wires for pressure.
Could you please let me know which pcm connector number the "purple" trans pressure wire goes to .
Any help would be great ,my local trans shops all scratch their heads .

Hey Jim,

To be honest I have no idea. In saying this though my advice would be to get a hold of a VS V8 and VT V8 S1 wiring diagram and cross checking the hybrid loom you currently have.

thanks for the reply mate , i have a haynes manual for vt v8 , which is fairly good ,the ellery book i have for vr vs v6 v8 is a shocker with the vs v8 wiring diagram nothing like my car ,on closer inspection it appears my loom is original ,it also appears to have the same wiring colours as a vt v8 ,but has only 2 pcm plugs not 3 . mine is a 1/1996 hsv enhanced ss (has the knock sensor wiring) .problem is now sorted ,i pulled the pan off my box and found 1-2 soleniod open curcuit .car now runs perfect all gears and engine light stays off .thanks again ,jim
