    That does not sound good

    It certainly sound like it coming from the motor, maybe from the timing chain tensioner(?)

    When hear how the chain tensioner snaps back in this alloytec (LY7) when being turned by hand, sounds similar to yours (though not a loud nor as frequent)

    Hard to diagnose online so I may very well be wrong

    i was told that the timing chains were gone by holden but im goning to get it diagnosed by holden maybe next week but thankyou for your help mate.

    Sadly I'm tipping it was timing chain related

    We've been looking at sourcing stronger replacement chains to suit. Exactly when, who knows

    Im guessing they wouldnt be as cheap as the tunes you have tho?

    They may have a mail order option not sure though. In saying this though we should have a mail order solution for these engines very soon

    The price for them will be around the $550 mark

    Best news iv heard in ages about a tune. From what iv read on here ur product support seems awesome so will be happy to wait to get a tune from you, hopefully soon.

    Not a worry Matt_27,

    Bare in mind with mail order tunes it does take longer to sort out given the shuttling of computers back and forth. Nonetheless though, it's available
