    Hey Scotty,

You could probably consider a CAI kit or a larger throttle to complement your current mods,

    Hope this helps

How much do you want to spend? Post a price and we'll let you know what each of us would do or have done with that budget.

We supply these throttle bodies to suit the factory manifold which are 70mm. Another option would be to consider running an aftermarket inlet manifold. The only problem with this though is the it will very likely need a touch up tune done, which may exceed your 2k budget,

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.

instead of starting a new thread, i have a vs 5ltr to. It has an exhuast, otr, and a small cam, Would the larger tb be a worth while mod in your opinion? And is it just a matter of swapping the tb's?

Hey I already have a 70mm throttle body. So to go larger than that would I have to change the inlet manifold?

Given the mods you have it would help. With our 70mm item it would be the case of swapping them over.

I initially was going to say no, however then I reliased that we have an LS1 throttle body adapter to suit. What this means is that you can run a larger LS1 throttle body on a factory 5L manifold. In saying this though I would only recommend running on if you were planning on porting out the neck of the inlet manifold and getting a touch up tune done.

Cheers mate, what size is an LS1 throttle body? What sort of price would I be looking at to get the adapter and to get the neck polished and ported?

The factory LS1 throttle bodies are 72mm, however there are a heap of aftermarket ones which are available that go up to 85mm

The price for the adaptor will be around the $130 mark. We have one 80mm LS1 throttle body left for $160. In regards to manifold porting we don't offer this service, however any cylinder head port should be able to do the work for you.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.
