oil is fully white again could it be the inlet manifold bolts stretched and not holding it down do you think or like the rear main seal as i was reading you need this special tool to put it on witch i didn't use i didn't even know you needed one
here is what it looks like. there is some brown colour in there that is because i put some clean oil in while it was draining not good

Could also be a bit of condensation.
Probably just double check everything man. See how you go..
After letting the car idle for about an hour i went and checked the dip stick and the oil seem's to be clean i will change the oil again in a couple of days as this has lite oil in it
i will take it for a good drive tomorrow and see how it goes
Okay just took it for a 10 minute drive up and down a couple of hills around my place and it really doesn't have much power and when i got back and went to check the dip stick i pulled it out and heaps of smoke was coming out of it :S
Keep going after six pages you must keep positive.
Making progress I guess
In regards to the smoke, do a compression test as per Gregories manual

Shame mate from the learning point of view.
But I wouldn`t blame you.

At least get a "RAC" or egine builder diagnosis before disposing of the vehicle.
Its a bit different from fishing answers on the Internet when a professional physical inspection and testing may help eliminate probable causes to pin point the answer.
Just a suggestion to go forward in the absence of a solution.

wow done so much work, and steve from mace has helped you out heaps, get someone who knows there stuff to have alook at it before you do anything drastic and get rid of it
What did you gap the rings to? Sounds like either the gaps are too large or you didnt run the engine in properly and have glazed the cylinders.
Okay it's been a while since i last posted nothing has really happened been using the car on very short trips to run around in and yesterday driving down a back street i found a VS sedan all the windows have been smashed in and heaps of parts taken from inside the car but the motor looked almost complete pretty dirty and a little bit rusted but i went and talked to the people who own the property and they took my number and are going to give it to the people who own it hopefully they wont to get rid of it for free of very cheap the engine had only done 221***
I hope so mate
