Any ideas on how to get more boost. I am looking at getting a yella terra snout. Any good suggestions to achieve more psi
Check out MACE's website, he has pulley upgrade kits, that will up your boost, but if you want to go uping the boost, to be safe, add an Intercooler.
I am currently running 10 psi just wondering if a yella terra snout will boost it more. I want to go intercooler but in future
10 is about the limit without an intercooler anyway.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
+1 to add intercooler
Do u think a mini blizzard would be good. I would like to get around the 16 psi mark + if possible. I don't think a medium blizzard kit would fit under bonnet.
Read the Mace product details:
MINI BLIZZARD INTERCOOLER KIT TO SUIT HOLDEN SUPERCHARGED 6 L67 - Mace Engineering Group
"The only mods that this car had to achieve these results are as follows.
MACE mini blizzard intercooler kit
MACE 1.9 ratio rockers
MACE 16psi pulley
MACE Cold air replacement air box kit
Twin 2 1/2 exhaust cat back exhaust system, no extractors or hi-flow cats!"
As above, 16psi pulley was used by Mace to test cooler so it should be fine.
And yes, as it states on Mace's site, you need to modify bonnet & firewall to fit intermidiate/mega blizzard kit as supercharger sites higher.
For ease of fitment, the mini blizzard is the way to go.
You can run a 16psi pulley, however you'll need a custom tune done (with the mini)
Otherwise you can run a 13-14psi pulley in conjunction with our mail order tune
You can install the intermediate blizzard without any body work mods, depending on the car, type of engine mounts and pulley size.
Can further improve this by running K frame spacers
If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.
