    Default Vy v6 mafless tune

    Just wondering what would be better for a n/a v6 for flow and power gain?
    Ls2 maf or maffless tune?

    I would put a bigger maf and tune it to that. Otherwise, if you want to apear to be legal you will have to leave the maf in anyway in mafless tune.

    Or just do that. It's not till police or Queensland transport check under your hood anyway. Just dont do something to make them do a roadside inspection

    I doubt theres any gains worth bragging about. Ecotecs don't have a MAP sensor so you'd have to have one of those installed and wired up as well.

    10 RWHP sounds around right with the right exhaust etc, but that being said it's only like 1-3RWHP more than doing just a CAI kit.. which is cheaper and alot easier to do.

    I'd go MAFLESS for L67 or bigger power. Everytime you add a mod you'd have to get a retune aswell on mafless.

    Last time i got dynod i made 205 rwhp without touching the intake.. Iv done everythin i can mod wise (i think)
    Without touching the heads.. So im just chasing the last bits of power b4 i call it quits.. I cant wait to see wat numbers she

    Given you're application I would be leaning more to upgrading the MAF only.

    How much do they charge over ur way? Wld be good to see wat ur car runs a custom tune wld get alot more outta ur car if u get heads done

    Chiptorque want like $1100+. And for what it is, thats way to friggin dear for something that just makes drivability a bit better. You bearly get any power gains, it like about 5 kw. A lot of money for 5 kw

    Heads will take me a while to get money together so tune in the mean time will just make thinks a little better till i can get heads. I can just update the tune when i get the heads too.

    lmao .. indeed it is. Might be heading out to a test and tune over here in the near future. For shits and giggles. Get a before and after tune runs in and just see what it does if anything to a 1/4 time.
