Default Dyno or review for 3.6L SIDI Insulator?

I just purchased the mace insulator for my camaro 3.6L SIDI and I am ready to install on my car along with some porting work I am having done as soon as I get it delivered in the states, but I am very curious to know how this work on our 3.6L SIDI vs the dyno mace have on their website that was done on alloytec.

I am going to be testing this on the dyno as soon as I receive it but is there anyone here with a review or that have alredy done their own dyno comparison?

    Ah good stuff

The gains won't be as good as the alloytecs as we were able to use a thicker spacer with them, however there will still be noticeable gains with them given the feedback we've received by other customers

After installing the insulator is tuning required? I was reading something on here about tuning might be required due to temperature difference and the actual temperature that is reported to ecm. I know you guys will know about this more then anyone else

Also, was 12mm the only option you guys had for 3.6L LLT?

Last but not least, are you guys also going to offer rocker arms and vvt delete with cams?

You guys don't know how excited I am along with so many of us in the states after we heard the news that mace is offering cams for the 3.6LLT. THANK YOU!

About over 90% of the insulators fitted to car are on standard tunes, with the results as advertised (in the case of the alloytec engine)

"Also, was 12mm the only option you guys had for 3.6L LLT?"
We have some development item in 12mm, however we now only supply them in 6mm

"Last but not least, are you guys also going to offer rocker arms and vvt delete with cams?"
Anything is possible, I'm really reluctant to delete the VVT to be honest. Not that it can't be done, such an excellent feature to have!

Stoker may be more likely then rocker arms to be honest. However we'll see how we go

No problems. They're certainly a technically advanced engine, which is good to see from GM

You said that you only offer them in 6mm? The one I purchased for 3.6L Sidi is 12mm correct?

    Heavy face palm

I can see why you would think that as our add still says that on the website

I will have to post you out a development 12mm kit ASAP

It doesn't comfortably fit in out VE Commodores, however it may fit in your Camero engine bay. I suppose you'll be able to get back to us know as you'll eventually have both items to play with

I am glad i found out it was 6mm before i had my porting guy started to take the grinder to it. i need the 12mm sir. I had no idea it was going to be 6 mm as it stated 12 on your website under 3.6 sidi.

I will send the 6mm one back as soon as I receive it. so are you going to ship out the 12mm for me asap?

    I understand completely.

The 12mm item will be sent up today, all of the paperwork is filled out ready for shipping (which will be done today)

I'm tipping that you'll probably end up using the 6mm item in the end. In regards to sending it back up we'll cross that bridge when we get to it as it may prove handy from a development perspective.
