Your thermostat opens up at a lower temp therefore keeping your car cooler. It will not use more fuel.
A car runs more efficiently when hot, a colder thermostat is of no benefit unless you are running forced induction.

I've got the mace 82deg thermostat, but need the tune in the new year!. Mine runs ultra cool, and the only time (and its rare) my fans come on is when im stuck in built up traffic on a hot day and its bumper to bumper.

there's a whole host of things that get changed in the tune when a 82 deg thermostat is used depending on model some maybe, things like ESC/Knock Functions, DFCO(deceleration Fuel Cutoff), Lean Cruise, Idle Airflow Learn Functions, Canister Purge and Closed Loop Warm Restart cutin points and obviously Low/High Thermo Fan Functions.![]()
Get a cam hahaha
tuning done by THE1
powering it by MACE
Boosting it by raptor
Cam would certainly help![]()

perhaps get decel fuel cut tuned to how you like it, so they revs bounce with fuel it may burble more then
Pop and burble is due to lean overrun. Worth an easy 15rwhp on the wank factor.
just one more question, with the mace throttle bodys i see you can now get a tune fore the larger ones, is there a send back and get retuned option? or would i have to rebuy a tune if i was to get the throttle body?
thanks
Depending on the memcal supplier at the time, and if a the throttle body is purchased from us then this can be arranged at no cost. The absolute worse case it will be around $80 to update the tune.
