Steve just wondering what you thought about the use of a kit like this one Sidi v6 supercharged? for our Commo LLT
ie 1. What do you think the chance would be that it could be adapted to fit the Commo?
2. Would MACE be able to support a tune for it or would it be necessary to purchase the tune from IPF Supercharger - Camaro V6 *DEPOSIT*
Just thought I'd run it by you![]()
"Steve just wondering what you thought about the use of a kit like this one Sidi v6 supercharged? for our Commo LLT"
I've seen it before and it does look good
"1. What do you think the chance would be that it could be adapted to fit the Commo?"
The bracket and blower would be fine, however I'm not sure about the front mount and piping. The piping would likely require to be reworked
"2. Would MACE be able to support a tune for it or would it be necessary to purchase the tune from IPF Supercharger - Camaro V6 *DEPOSIT*"
The tune 100% won't be a problem

No probs![]()

And Jarp is getting excited about a possible birthday and/or Christmas present for himself next year :P
Would be sweet if you can make it work haha
Ya not wrong...warranty up next year and I'mmy head off. If 300+RWKW possible for 5-6k then I'd be keen as although would also have to do brakes. Just emailed CAPA to see where they are at as they told me 6 months ago that it was in the pipeline. Have also wondered if one of these http://www.capa.com.au/kits_holden_ve_v6.htm could be easily adapted and then MACE tuned?
I looked at the IRP kit again, I don't think that it will fit without modding the bracket or body work. The CAPA one would likely be the way to go. I think that the alloytec bracket may be suitable with the SIDI unit. Tuning no probs

Would need to have MAF adapter I assume? Any ideas about ADR approval for rego I'm also assuming this would come down to individual State/Territory legislation but might be a stumbling block.

Easy

Unless you have very very deep pockets, I think you'll find that these supercharger kits are for "OFF ROAD USE ONLY"

If I somehow get the funds together before the end of jan steve/jarp you're welcome to have a look at the bracket and see if it will fit the SIDI's. Might be a simple mod job!
Kuzman's Supercharged SV6 - MACE TUNED
Is the S/C road the one you are taking Kuzman? I think it is the way to go from a bang for buck perspective, particularly as there is now no requirement to piggy back an ECU. I'd be keen to know if the VE Capa kits would bolt up to the SIDI so thanks for the bracket offer if you get to that point.
It's the CAPA 10psi intercooled kit. Only thing is you'd need bigger injectors and I'm not sure who sells them here?
Kuzman's Supercharged SV6 - MACE TUNED
Mmmmm I didn't see any mention of bigger injectors for the Camaro kit...will check that out.
If fueling problems do arise with the SIDI's then a the cam lobe that activates the high pressure pump will need modded along with the pump etc.
I don't think it will be a problem though, depending on how far you want to go I guess.
The easiest way out though would be to run a microfueller with additional injectors in the top of the manifold.

Would you recommend this for the alloytec too? I was going to get 440c injectors, are these big enough? or should I go 450c?
