Default Dyno Run for my Vx COMMY

Pretty happy with my b4 Got 134kws or 180 HP and 200 torque with my twin 2.5inch xforce pacemakers and twin cats, got the spacers and CAI on but didnt have enough time for a dyno so it will be done tuesday car goes alot harder with the spacers and cold air so far happy with it but my car clonked out on the way home a refused to start again but after 5-10 minutes just started back up got a rough idle sounds like i have a cam. Racq guy thinks maybe the fuel pump. Do u think it could be the fuel injectors Steve??? cheers oh and Bonnet closes but i need two people to open it one to push the bonnet down and other to pull leaver do u think i should take the top spacer off?? Any help or anything will be greatly appreciated from anyone =)

all up took me 2.5 hours to fit all of it would of taken less if i put the fuel rail spacer on the right way lol took me ages to figure out why the fuel injectors werent sitting anywhere near were they were ment to lol. And also after a basically what i like to call an all daya yesterday at the pub i wasnt happy waking up at 7 to get ready and go to the dyno shop lol.

The pics will come wen i go back there and get my after on monday. More pics and info on how it feels after a little bit more test driving.
Not really to pleased with the results however im in love with the manfiold spacer but cold air and plenum spacer did nothing tho im happy with the torque i got outa the manifold spacer

    Pics are here

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Just make sure that all of the vac lines are fine especially the ones going to the throttle body.

In regards to removing the top spacer, you'll likely put it back on again after you take it off. My advice would be to trim the bonnet liner, space out the bonnet a little or consider relieving the bonnet rib.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Cheers,
    Steve

probably save money CAI doesnt really do anything except make a wistling noise (which i dont like lol) ive put my orginal box back in and noticed no difference watched a video on youtube last night and a K and N filter does same as a CAI keep that in mind so ill be heading down to get one some time next week and also took my top plenum spacer got same effect but i recommend the manifold spacer for sure. gets u off the mark quick and flyes through the rev range. Is it just me MACE or does it seem to rev longer in all of the gears, pretty sure i notice that =)

when i put my 25mm spacer on i had a similar problem the injectors didnt seem to be going in far enough so i just used a couple washes and spaced teh rail down a little although i think i spaced it down too far, no more air leaks though, but i got this spacer from my mates vs and it didnt have that problem. i think all car are different though

but yeh i noticed a fair bit of difference with the spacer

Forgive me im lost. What was on the car before to get 134rwkw. And now what does it have to get 180rwhp. Isnt 180rwhp = 134rwkw? Thorefore gained nothing?
From my underestanding to vxcp the top plenum spacer is more to help with air distribution over the runners by slowing the air down and changing the way it moves through the plenum to prevent leanout at high revs.

Do you have those graphs and were the runs done with the bonnet closed?

The numbers your getting a above average, however from a comparative testing perspective it's not a problem.
