What's better if I'm after a CAI with a tune. Do I go the mafless option?
You've got an SV6 from memory, so you have to keep the maf, no mafless tune.
The MAF on the V6 is different to the MAF on the V8 models (in terms of size and 'restriction' created)
Ok sweet. So in other words I can install the orssom otr and drive the car until I get the tune

One is illegal and one is not isnt it??
if a cop was to pull you over and fine you for having no maf, then they have serious problems. you can always get a mod plate to have peace of mind, but in reality, no body cares
I'm trying to get into police college so I'll go for the maf as I need to stay out of trouble at all cost!
I had no idea it was illegal to have no maf! Man strict rules in this country that's for sure!
In regards to your post mace.
I'll put it on then head straight to the tuning shop to get a tune done. Will I cause any damage to the engine by doing this?
Dont qoute me on it being illegal, I was kinda asking the question, but im fairly certain I read that it was illegal due to immisions laws??

Hi mate i have a vy ss 2004 S2 it has 70k on the clock ans stock as apart from SS induction AFM and HSV intake pipe, i want to run the mafless tune because every one is saying thats the way to go , and full exhaust system probably 3inch mild steel how much would i be looking at for the whole package ? cheers
