COLD AIR INTAKE ENCLOSURES
New generation cold air intake enclosures to suit Commodores and Statesmans VN-VY 5Lt & VT-VZ LS1/LS2, which are a direct bolt on drop-in replacement for your existing air box assembly. The kits include an all new air box, airflow meter safe pod filter, along with mounting hardware required for complete installation.
CNC precision ported throttle body for VN-VT is enlarged to a final diameter of 70mm increasing maximum airflow by 14%. Backed up by testing, gains of around 5kw at the rear wheels are to be had if used in conjunction with extractors/exhaust and cold air intake. A greater power gain can be achieved if more mods have been undertaken such as a larger cam, supercharger etc…![]()

Will you do better prices on here for members? as opposed to the trade me pricing......
Hey ScoHar,
We'll certainly offer competitive pricing on here. In regards to the pricing on trademe, considering the exchange rate and the fact that there is no GST paid on the item as it's for export (further keeping costs down), prices probably won't be less then trademe. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Kindest Regards,
Steve

can you guys do a twin throttle manifold for the 304 v8???
Maybe sometime you will organize a twin throttle for the 304 as well as a lighter and cooler running manifold
Would be quite an item

can i please have a price on the ls1 roller rockers
The LS1 rockers are $440 changeover. Bare in mind that they are the highest ratio rockers on the market and provide a genuine gain of around 5-10% at the wheels when used in conjunction with stiffer valve springs. They will still work with the factory springs however to avoid any float top end stiffer springs are needed. We can supply quality PAC 918 springs to suit with these rockers for $220.
can Mace supply roller rockers that are straight bolt on without adjustment that fit under the standard covers on a VR 304 and if so what is the cost delivered to Beresfield 2322 and are they in stock. thanks, Jim.
I don't suppose you'd have any dyno charts to go with these?
I was looking at going 1.8 a while back, but the consensus amongst people who'd tried them was that they didn't have much gain on a LS1. Would be keen to see how 1.9s do.
Also how high can you go with a stock cam before you start causing interference?

Hi Commydoor,
Unfortunately we don't have rockers to suit your carYour best bet would be to try YT or Crane cams.
We have dyno graphs. Hopefully I'll be able to scan them and have them up here on the weekend.
Not only this but the part throttle response is much better with these rockers then the factory items resulting in better driveability
These rockers generate around .550" of Lift on your stock LS1 and 2 from memory, which is small cam territory, without the expense
In regards to the max lift that these heads can take without machining the valve guides etc is over .600" however I'll have to get clarification from our head porter.
Hi ducker85
In regards to your questions. Ordering one of these can be done via email or over the phone. The price is $220 outright or $190 changeover.
Cheers
Steve
how did you go with dyno sheets for the roller rockers?
better get some, Or yella terra will get my coin...
I've been keeping an ear open about 1.8 rockers, word on the street is that there really isn't much in them by way of performance, certainly not to the same extent that there is for Ecotec rockers.
I'd like to see charts for the 1.9's, to see if they fare any better.
There was a bloke on this forum selling a new set of YT 1.8's for quite a good price (about $500 I think?) he might still have them for sale. From what I've heard though, they are only really good for quieting the drivetrain thanks to the roller tip.
