I bought a "lowered" VE SSV Ute. Yeah they cut the bloody springs........... F'n knotheads. Cost me 2 grand, spring, shocks the works...... Leave it alone!

Actually the guts of the door. Yes, I do know this. But for my own entertainment I was looking for an assembly schematic of the guts of the door.

Bought my VE with a couple of deep point dents in the drivers door. Easier to replace the door so I am seeking a Drivers door schematic. I have a Calais door without the cards as I am using what is on my door. I have a repair manual but it's just the mechanical parts, I need the body manual...

They must be all alike........... Grab the bottom, hand inside the tray under, just give a steady pull outwards. Should just release. If you have some rubbing alcohol you could give all the contact points a gentle wipe. Alcohol will evaporate. Gently push it all back in place the way it came...

I was on the road on holiday. Been months since the unit went blank. Had my wifr pull the unit up while we we on the hiway, pushed it back in and Bingo, works still. Only bad part is you lose all the pre-sets! Disconnecting the battery is too much trouble!

The dealers replacements have a metal insert, all good.

Mufflers, GD them!!!!!!! Who turns the beautiful sounds a V* makes into the EPA. I'm getting a bit tired of again having to have the Noise level checked!!!! They don't crackle when you lift off, just a nice rumble!
