I just bought a set of MSD leads off EBay... ad said they were for VTII LS1.
Box says they're for Camaro LS1 and the lengths/gap numbers are different to my stock leads. WTF? Are these no good or can I just match shortest through to longest?
Bit of a thread dig :)

I got the 4 discs on EBay for about the price of 2 discs at trade price from Coventrys! The slotted rotors helps to disburse brake pad dust to allow for more consistent braking on long/hard drives. The DBA rotors handle heat and temp changes better than some of the cheaper brands. You still...
Thanks guys... yep they're the new T2 ones. They look a bit ugly but look like they'll work better! Will chuck them on this weekend and see how they go!
I just bought some new DBA slotted discs from EBay to replace my old ones... the discs that arrived from EBay came in a proper DBA box but they're a different slot pattern to my old ones.
Does anyone know if DBA have changed their slot pattern for Commodore? Ie gone from the single...

Try it out first with alloy rattle cans... you can buy ones with primer and sealer all in one at Bunnings for about $12. I did mine a while ago on my 4wd, they get chips/scratches now and then as I use it off road, but then I just spray over the scratches.
I debadged mine by just getting a fingernail under the corner of the badge and pushing side to side... most of them are just glue. You can also use a length of fishing line behind the badge to cut through the glue. Only takes a few minutes to do the whole car!
PS It just so happens I sell...
Just attach the jack to the chassis rails about 6 inch in front of the back wheels... unless your kit covers the rails? If it does I would back the car up on some ramps and trim the kit back with an angle grinder.
Thanks
Thanks guys,
I was after some direction on how to get the trim off but ended up figuring it out.
Removed the bottom of the rear seat, by pulling the two tabs underneath.
Then undid the bolts holding the two seat backs in place, and slid the seat back up to remove the seat backs...
Bit of a newb question, but how do I get to the seat belt tensioners in my VT II?
The rear seat belts are really slow to retract so I want to get in to them and clean/lube to hopefully make them a bit quicker.
I have done a search and found a few tips on how to clean them up but can't find...
Thanks all.
Reason for looking at an exec is they're half the price of the VTII SS... and I just want this as my daily shitbox to take to the shops and train station. Don't need all the SS fruit.
V6 exec times on redbook are different again. I think I will just go drive one to see. 9.3...
