UPDATE.... so for those who were following this post I found the issue to my problems No 1 ......3 coils were breaking down when hot No 2 ....... fuel filter was clocked with crap

No bud wasnt tuned, what is odd every now and then it will over come the issue and launch...... as far as im aware I shouldnt have to tune it just for the exhaust.... I can get a 300kw tune done ... not dyno just a flash tune sorta thing

Hey all, Ive got a 2001 stato ,ls1.... my question is .... is the v6 auto tranny the same as the v8?

Into 4th seems to be the worst, like it cant make up its mind wether to shift or not under heavy accelration, drive normaly round town its not too bad could be better tho

Checked the oil level and the oil is very clean

Hi again peeps..... hey I have just bought a wh stato.... ls1 Im thinking the auto may be on its last legs..... wasnt noticeable during test drive ... just got it on the road and under firm acceleration doesnt seem To be a firm Shift but a glide into each gear,isnt doesnt appear to be slipping...

Hey guys.... need to Pic ya brains...... having glitchy issue with my vz ss . Ls2 ... things like it not pulling 4th hear every month or so..... just free revs the it will pull the gear... its a recoed box and just been serviced....the a/c will stop ... if you turn it of and on will be fine...

Hey I had mine turned of with the use of HP TUNER programme.... my problem was actually loose spade terminal on the slip ring on the key barrel.... i replaced the key transponder , the slip ring and had it Turned of before i found thr actual Issue..... hope this sheds some light on your issue bud
