    tiny rust dots

if the rust is in an obvious spot then sanding, rust protecting, then painting is probably best. If rust is not so obvious like under boot or bonnet, or in a door somewhere, just spray a petrol based "anti-rust" on the rust spots to prevent further spread"

want to make a switch so i can turn off subs when baby in car

this thread is so comical. to start off with its an easy thing to do. Secondly all you audio freaks make it sound so much more complicated than it has to be. I have a switch for subby. cost me 2 bucks. got audio guys at JB HiFi to fit it for free. its just a circuit breaker. got one for my GPS...

    vibration help

if you sound proof the boot properly the spoiler shouldn't be an issue. its like when ppl say their number plates rattle. i used a healthy combo of expanda foam and sound deadening sheets inside the boot and i only get very small vibrations now with very high volume (which i could probably get...

    steering issue

rear suspension still effects steering as it allows the tail of the car to move around and hence makes the front end harder to control. gonna get the bushes i mentioned changed and put better tyres. then i'll write back to this thread to tell everyone how it feels.

    steering issue

had coils, shocks and strut bearing plates changed today. firmer ride, however steering is still stuffed. I have been advised that is is most likely to be the bushes around the lower control arm, radius rod, upper and lower trailing arms, and sway bar. A few replacement bushes should do the...

car bottoms out, why? and whats the go on second hand shockers?

if you are not sure what the problem is, it will only cost you a whole 14 bucks to get pedders to hoist the car up and check it over. They'll let you know of any other issues too. I know it probably sounds like I work for them or something but it is a pretty sweet deal. It doesn't mean you have...

    springs & shocks

i am getting my coils and shocks changed in a couple of days. One thing that I think is important is the strut mounting/bearing plates. I am gonna be replacing these with adjustable ones (camber). Other things to think about are the sway bar, panhard rod, all the bushes and a good set of tyres...

    STOLEN: VK LM5000 Brock

don't worry bout law or cops. they will be a burden to the process of getting your car back. I say confront your "friend" civilly and discuss. Sort the differences out. no violence required. you never know, may even be a simple misunderstanding in the middle of all this hype. chances are, you'll...

    P2 driving prohibited vehicle

i don't know much about other states legislation, but in victoria the restrictions all have loopholes, or room for negotiation. powerfull vehicles= letter from employer stating the vehicle is needed for employment to drive a manual whilst on auto license= as previously mentioned, "driver...
