If you look for the 2 different ecu pin outs it not that hard you only need to change a few pins from memory, I converted a v6 auto loom to v6 manual years ago since I had gotten a vn s1 car to take the manual out of and the loom with it didn't have the same plugs and spent days rooting around...
It is a brand new SSS parts brand switch, might need to open it and have a look at it. I'll swap the wires to another switch on the block and see it happens with that. Will look in my wiring diagram book to see whats what and how to bypass if the switch isn't faulty.
