ive bin researching this subject for a while now, and im wondering what i would need to do for the wiring side of things, i have a few options im thinkin... but im not even sure if it will work - the speed sensor on my auto is only a 2 wire pickup, so can i just use them on the getrag...

im also wondering this, im going from auto to getrag manual with my VR senator AUTO, it seem like the best way to go is to buy a getrag loom and ecu, but thats a pretty costly exercise, is it cheaper to buy a motec and tune it ?

180 degrees out ? you can be at TDC but still have the #1 cylinder on the exhaust stroke not compression, put ya thumb over the spark plug hole whilst turning it to TDC to make sure its on the compression stroke

as title sais, ive got a vs series 2 manual gearbox conversion, inlcuding harness and ecu my questions are i have an 185 motor with a knock sensor, will the vs ecu work or not? or can i just swap memcal?? or is that not possible cause its an auto memcal?? <-- dont know will the harness...

im thinking of doing this conversion on my VR senator, what was the biggest hurdle? and howmuch did it all end up costing ya ?

i also pull the bonnets off, arrange the leads on the cap before you put the cap on the dizzy and your in buisness!! bonnet off = 2 mins of your time and will save atleast 15 mins of time

i run a higher temp one, it sits at about 1/3 normally, and about 1/2 with the a/c on, apparently the thermo fan comes on @ 3/4 so dont be alarmed

check your kickdown cable if it has one, if not check the atf level

what if u wanted to do this to an auto?, is there any room for the cooler hoses at all ?
