Yeah, got it towed into closest auto mechanics yesterday and turns out it is the clutch :/
Oh well would have had to upgrade when I put cam in so $1800 well spent I reckon! Plus 110000 km out of a Holden clutch isn't bad at all :)

Surely that cant be legal, and surely if you did fork out for a solicitor you may aswel take him to court for theft of your sons vehicle aswell mate.

chancevy, this is going off topic, but what is the point of defecting someone for loose battery clamps? is it because the boys in blue cannot find anything else wrong with the car and just assume there's something bad lurking underneath the bonnet? i've got two canaries for the same thing, even...
its not illegal, but as Skooby said if the vehicle did not come with a second hole, then technically it does not comply with ADR's and therefore is illegal. most cops will defect you on anything if you're caught havin fun. so worry about your "loose battery clamps" other than 2nd hole mods ;)
