    I agree, I have kept all the original parts in case it gets sold one day. All the mafless tune and otr was done at Chevs in Carrum Downs, freakin sweet after the tune.

    Well the other thought I have is a Harrop 2300 blower, heads and cam. Not should do the trick, won't do breaks till later....I mean who needs to sop.

    I just wrote this mammoth post and it freakin deleted it. Low and level would be the idea but since it is a daily not to low. If I installed an LS3 i guess it wouldnt really be a future classic anymore.

    Thanks mate, researching tonight actually but I may have some bad news. I might sell the Monaro and go for something with a few more horses.... Yes, thats right. Either that or convert it to a LS3..... How people are going to tell me not to do this.

    Well my 03 Monaro was getting 21 - 22 around town and 15 on the hwy. After the tune I get about 17 city a 8 on the hwy. It's all in the right foot.

    engine belt farrkd!!!

    Small recommendation, there are 2 types to the Ecotec engines so when you get the belt quote your VIN number. Put the belt on on all tentionsers except the water pump as this pulley has no lip to it. I have fitted many of these on my car.

    Exactly, with those mods standard is around the 235 mark. If you getting that sort of figure from these bolt on mods then nothing would be able to catch you on the road. Get a speed test done on another dyno.

    Hold on, so no OTR CAI an you pulling 253 at the wheels from a 5.7, is the dyno the calibrated properly.
