This is my Mum's 2003 XC Barina SRi, bought it as a demo back in Nov '03

As in, go from reverse hard into first so you can actually spin the wheels?

whatever you do dont put an exhuast esp a cannon it will sound sht

keep exhuast standard

otherwise good looking car i think my sister wants one of them lol

yeh def talking about lighting it up in the ol' reverse to first trick lol. But they go into "limp" mode if you kane them hard. they are practically a go cart the way they handle

Bit of an update, as its been a while.

Car is due for a service this weekend, hopefully K&N panel filter will be fitted.
Car is in need of a scrub, so will take some more pics.

Update,

Bit late but.....
K&N panel filter finally fitted. Mum really enjoys the extra throttle response it has.
Car will be taken for a long over due run up to Kandos next Sunday along with The Blue One.

I had an XC 3 door which I bought from my daughter a few years back. She bought hers new and by the time I sold it, it was four years old and had 175,000 k's on it. She bought it in black and as soon as I got it, I replaced the wheels with 17 x 7's. The thing handled like a go-kart and rode like a truck! (but shit, it looked good) They are a terrific little car.

Hey Calaber,

They sure are, this would be the only Barina i would get! The car ur daughter had would have been the Barina City which has the 1.4L engine. The SRi has the 1.8L which is the same as the TS Astra's. Yeah thats all u need wider tyres & stiffer suspension.

Ours is due for a new exhaust soon.
