Joe Blo: Thanks man, this is just something cheap till i get an apprenticeship then ill get a decent car.

WogBoyz: i dunno if your being sarcastic. lol but i hate the bloody things

Pub247: No. There is a model called the cultus that is 4wd, and i think that turbo's were an extra.

Looks good mate, i had a swift GTI for a while when i was younger. Was a great little car, with decent tyres, they will surprise most people who have never been in one. Unfortunately for me, i'm 6'2, so it had to go

Im probably wrong, from what ive seen an read there was a model called a cultus with and awd box and the gear in it, but they were only realeased in america, and there is only a handful of people that actually have the awd gear in there car in AUS i will post a link of a car tomorrow that has all the awd gear in it for you.

    Cheers

my girl has a Cino. lowered, forged internals, big brakes (drilled and slotted),exhaust(no cannon) weightless little car anything over 140 is scary (blown off the road with the passing of a 4x4 or truck) will get picks for any diss believers when i get home on the W/e. keeps even pace with my calais upto about 75 clicks a turbo on it and it would be a weapon or a death trap either way

yes this is correct sohc (cam replaced unknown supplier) aftermarket carb fed with external pump supplying the fuel. the car was purchased like this still having problems gettin sufficent air/fuel at mid to hi RPM but not a huge problem as the car is a daily TAFE/Work driver and the Calais has priority lol

Got the cover off yesterday and covered it in paint stripper and got 90% of the paint off the had to go to work lol

this morning did the same thing to get the excess paint off, then sanded it startin with 280 then went to 400 grit. came up pretty good once that was done. lol i got all exited thinking i was going to start painting (the paint VHT wrinkle coat) , i read the instructions, shook the can, went to test it on a bit of scrap and the paint went every except out the nozzle , i tried everything to clean it but nothing worked, so quicly went into town and grabbed another can of the same stuff from a different place though as the place i originally got the paint from caught on fire this morining, got all exited again and the f#@$ing thing wouldnt even spray, at this point i wasnt very happy so i went and got my money back and got VHT satin black engine enamel (not the stuff i wanted but no where in town had the wrinkle stuff) i tested this can out in the car park before i left.

Got home and put 3 coats on it, then dried it off with the heat gun then put in the oven for an hour (mum wasnt to happy lol). Has turned out better than i was expecting. not 100% doen yet as ive gotta sand the words back to the alloy.
i really would have liked the wrinkle one but you cant get everything you want aye
