Head's '80 WB 1 Tonner

Seeing your pics of the floor reminds me of something I have wondered about for years.

What were those large round covers that screw onto the floor panel supposed to do? I thought they might have something to do with drainage if the car was flooded but they are too big. They first appeared around the FE and were still there on WB's.

Well I assume they do nothing as these replacement ones aren't screw on it's all solid... The old ones I pulled out could of been used for drainage they had that much rust on them lol

Yeh I think they're for drainage calaber.

Theres a couple in the boot of my statesman as well. And a bit of water leaked into the boot and gathered at the thing, so once I unscrewed it the water drained out. Makes sense.

Yea, i finished making up a new radiator bracket/facia panel. Thats about all for now.... I got a new ride now but

So the ute will be even slower progress now haha!
