Car: 1999 Nissan R50 Pathfinder Ti 3.3L V6
Colour: Gold i guess
Trans: Auto (only made in auto in this model)
Diffs: Twin LSD's
Mods: Pedders front gas Sports Ryder shocks, Pedders rear foam cell Trak Ryder shocks (45mm bore), Pedders front and rear springs (2" lift), Pedders CV boots all round, 245/75/16 BFGoodrich Muddies, 16" x 7" black Sunraysia wheels, Rola roof racks, Hayman Reese tow bar etc.
Future mods: Aftermarket head unit to replace gay factory 3 stacker, galvanised steel bash plate (in the works right now), bullbar (don't know when, it's a prick to find a decent one to suit the R50) and that's probably about it. No need for spotties, everytime i am camping and 4WD'ing with the boys, we are always back at the site drinking by the time it starts to get dark lol.

Sure am man!! In 18 days myself and about 16 mates are doing our yearly NYE Dargo / Bruthen / Buchen / Timbarra trip.
If we can't find a campsite at one area, we move onto the next via 4WD tracks. Already gave the Pathy a flogging around a mates paddock yesterday, it has some big rough ridges, managed to get two front tyres off the ground
Definantly needs a steel bashplates though, other than that, it had no probs! Alot of the 4WD don't have ridges as rough as my mates paddock, i wanna find some mud and have some fun through it!!
Cheers Daniel san!

but yeshhh, looks the goods!!
Ha, yes i have been up Mount Devastation in my mates Landcruiser, not a bad little track, i'll just be heading up small mild and muddy tracks like Scorpion Creek trail and stuff where we are going. It will be daytime driving, 7 of the boys head out on quad and 2 wheeler bikes, and 3 of us head out in 4WD's behind them, it's a good trip every year!
Thanks though, it looked like the biggest family car when i bought it, my mission was to change that, it's almost there.

Hi Morton!!
**** going on JC Vic Cruises.. Pile up in Coby's 4x4, slab in the back compartment, 4x4 bashing!
Good invite Coby..
On a serious note, being a commodore lover (and very biased at that), still spewing the Senator is no longer yours, bloody mint piece of work, and I woulda given anything I had to have the VP as a daily, and the VS as a weekender - However, you have done well with this mate, I gotta come around sometime in the near future and have a look!
Yes and no, it will be fun driving myself up the tracks, but not as fun because i can't drink whilst driving up the tracks. But still, just means i drink extra hard when we get back to camp. Last time there were cops on YZ's up up the trails. No joke!
Yeah i loved the Senator, but when i got that EPA notice for loud exhaust, it was enough, i can't be assed with that hassle, it's more money to spend, it's more times i have to leave work early to get things done because of it etc. It's not worth the hassle IMO. But i do miss the meaty roar of that exhaust on the 304.
I'd kill for a 304 conversion for the Pathy![]()

True. I wanna get an exhaust done on the Pathy before xmas. Maybe next weekend. Been told that the best bang for buck on them is a 2.5" cat back. Car already has a factory twin cat system, but it goes from twin pipes after the cats, into a twin in, single out muffler (before the rear resi). And that muffler is supposed to be a HUGE restriction and weigh a tonne as well.
Gonna have that restrictive muffler replaced with a better flowing twin in twin out muffler, and ditch the rear resi and just have two flat mild steel skinny tips.

They look skinny in the photos because the photo's have been shrunk from the sides
They look wider in the flesh. Can't fit a wider tire anyway, they scrub a bit now on full lock with the lift as well.

Not to mention, spacers would push the tires out beyond the edge of the wheel arch flares, thus making it defectable. For a 4WD, your tires cannot extend out beyond the widest point of the wheel arch (being the flares).

Yeah, those tyres do look a bit skinny, but like you said, probs just the pics.

Looks good. Bet those tyres howl like a bitch on the road, all terrains ftw!![]()
Well they are a 16 x 7, not as wide as i'd like, but man would they scrub. I'd ideally like a 16 x 10.5 tyre, but i'd have to get some wider fibreglass flares made up to keep it all legal.
Haha, yeah i got my all terrains at home in the garage, i am putting them back on when we get back from NYE camping / 4WD'ing. They are noisy, but once the sharp edges of the tread wore off a little, the noise died a little bit. Still noisy though![]()

Can i ask what you payed for the BFGs?Ive been working on my Cruiser all weekend as its finally full steam ahead for me to get it on the road.
Ill be going a 2in lift with 33s and 15x8 black sunnys.I know i can fit 35s with a 60mm lift but im not too sure if i want to go that high yet as its a SWB and they can get a bit top heavy if too high.Im waiting on delivery of my extractors so i can get the exhaust done next week.
Are we there yet?
