was out in the shed and thought i would snap a few pics for you guys, the red EH is obviously a project, and far from complete. There is still no decision as to wether or not it will be kept original or if it will be something a little more tasty, currently focussing on body work.
The FC, although not in showroom condition is very close to original, unfortunaltly she doesnt get out much, but its rather tidy all the same.
The eh ute, is a completed project, I will let the pictures speak for themselves though.

Nice! I love these things. Got a mate who's slowly but surely putting together an EK ute at the moment. Nice work with the 6 too.
love the EH ute! nothin better than old utes, my brother has a 61 EK ute ready to be started on, it runs all original parts on it atm, last registerd in 78' :P sat in a shed for bout 30 yrs, has original mobil stickers on the side as it was i guess a company car for mobil back in the day very similiar colour to your EH.
How does the ecotech engine go in it? (i assume thats what it is) lovin the garage haha one day

thanks guys, the ute has come up alright, i still needs a few little bits and pieces, but is relatively completed, we are thinking in the future a hardcover for the back, and the rocker covers need a coat of paint now that the engine cover is done. Also need a heat sheild for the pod, the dfi and coil packs will be getting moved to the edge of the engine compartment, just a general tidy up.
As for the conversion, its one of the simplest, theres a few companies that make kits for it, my son (who made this thread for me) is looking for a eh wagon so he can do the same thing with a 5 litre. hard to find any shells in decent nick now days though.
thats not the entire shed your seeing either, next to the eh sedan just out of sight is a handmade tear drop caravan in a similar colour to the ute. and we also have our daily cars. getting crowded around here car wise
