    Default Southys new GTi

    Well this is my new GTi because commodores are boring!

    Body: Standard with cultus mid wing coming..
    Colour: Black
    Wheels: 16" black and chrome spoked rims
    Interior: standard black and grey
    Engine: Cultus 1.3 G13b
    Exhaust: 2 1/2" mandrel bent
    Transmission: 5 speed manual
    Diff/Axels: Modena LSD
    Suspension: 250lb front springs with munroe shocks, custom 450lb rear springs with koni adjustables
    Front adjustable strut tops, 20mm rear whitline sway bar.
    Brakes: Have just payed for a set of RDA slotted rotors and green stuff pads

    The near future mods:
    Im waiting on tax back to get a set of 14"enkei rp01 already reserved for me. Also a full set of performance super pro bushes should be here tomorrow *fingers crossed*

    The quad thottle body set up will eventually go on this.. also adjustable cam gears will be on next week..

    bit of an update..
    i got my enkies! but i needed longer wheel studs so there on order.. they should be here soon.
    Im still waiting on my slotted rotors and pads
    i bought new springs all round for it and im gettin my konis rebuilt.
    And ive just been cleaning my spare motor ready to get rebuilt for turbo application!

    How wide are the rims mate? Planning on keeping those tyres on?

    there 6" wide and the tyres are brand new bridgestone Re001's..

    Well the ITB's are coming along, ive just gotta get them welded up, and get some silicon joiners and make up a few brackets to support them when they are on the car.

    Looks sweet mate. "Commodore's are boring haha i love it!!" Do you really think a turbo will suit it? Maybe with too much power you might upset the car a little and lose some of it's driveability? Just my thoughts, either way it should still be a lot of fun.

    It will lose alot of its driveability if i go turbo, thats why im going to try the quad throttle bodies first.

    A bit more of an update
    Waiting on Billet Fuel rail, Billet adjustable fuel pressure regulator and ive got some longer studs and new nuts to put on so the rims can go on..

    This GTi is the old tinkerbell GTi,i done most of the panel work on it then it went to wayne at advance airbrushing to get tinker bell done
