Mags an badging lol :P
No parts i am aware of..
How does that stuff handle heat?
What about making some nice COLD AIR POD ENCLOSURES that house a pod filter in place of a standard air box that gets air from behind the headlight an could have an OTRCAI slot strait into it...
Hahaha dumb but kinda cool imo
i'm not tailgating, i'm keeping up with the pace car
Dry carbon which I dealt with is made in an Autoclave and the resin can handle high temperatures. The guy that made the parts for me works for Ferrari F1 and made gearboxes out of the stuff, so you can imagine, a lot of heat. He made us some cam covers once for the skyline, unfortunately we stopped production before they could be tested. Cold air intakes would be good. The Chinese carbon you see on the everyday market is rubbish. They use a wet lay up process and the end result is shocking compared to Dry carbon. Air bubbles, warping from the heat (low temp resin) and a weave pattern that is all over the place.
2 pictures here, one is a seibon bonnet and all though heavily branded is still cheap and nasty wet lay up. The other is my carbon stuff, nice neat weave and no warping, discolouration or pin holes from air bubbles. The Chinese made carbon actually has the resin brushed into it, distorting the weave. Then the end product is laquered for the shiny finish. The dry carbon, naurally comes out glossy with no need for laquer. The cam covers are straight out of the mold before trimming and buffing.
cam covers previously mentioned
That spoiler produce enough downforce for ya? LOL
Not quite, think I may go bigger next time lol.
